WHEREAS, under sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act no. 30 of 2013), the Government of Uttar Pradesh is of the opinion that for the construction of a four-lane road from Outer Ring Road (Raitha Underpass) to PM Mitra Park (Textile Park) in Lucknow District for public purpose, through Executive Engineer, Construction Division-2, PWD, Lucknow, 50.0497 hectares of private land of Village-Purwa and Raitha, Tehsil-Bakshi ka Talab and Village-Kolwa Bhanoura, Khakhra, Aumou, Sultanpur, Danour, Ranipara, Peernagar, Amauli and Salehnagar, Tehsil-Malihabad is required.

2. The Social Impact Assessment study has been conducted by University of Lucknow and its recommendation has been submitted to the Government of Uttar Pradesh which has approved by the recommendation on date January 23, 2026.

3. The summary of social impact assessment is as follows:–

The proposed acquisition of land for the construction of a four-lane road from Outer Ring Road (Raitha Underpass) to PM Mitra Park (Textile Park) in Lucknow District is in public interest and serves the purpose of public purpose, impact benefit and social welfare.

The potential benefits of land acquisition outweigh the adverse social impact.

4. There is no possibility of displacement in land acquisition.

5. THEREFORE, the Governor is pleased to notify for general information that the land mentioned in the Schedule below, is needed for public purpose.

SCHEDULE

6. The Governor is also pleased to authorize the Collector, for the purpose of land acquisition, to takes necessary steps to enter upon and take survey of the land, take levels of any land, dig and do all the Acts required for the proper execution of work as provided and specified under section 12 of the Act.

7. Under section 15 of the said Act, any person interested in the land may, within 60 days after the publication of this notification in the Gazette, submit an objection to the acquisition of land in writing to the Collector .

8. Under section sub-section (4) of Section 11 of the said Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land i.e. sale/purchase, specified in the preliminary notification or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication of such notification till such time as the proceedings of land acquisition is completed, without prior approval of the Collector.

Note: The site map of the land may be inspected in the office of Additional District Magistrate (Land Revenue), Sharda Assistant Project Room no.40, Collectorate, Lucknow.
