IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 680/LXXVII-3– 2026-139(M)-2018 dated: April 9, 2026:

WHEREAS preliminary notification no. 738/LXXVII-3-2024-139(M)-2018 dated October 7, 2024 was issued under sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Act no. 30 of 2013) in respect of total 2.9182 hectares of land required in village Sikandarpur 0.0520 hect., Bairampur 0.0411 hect., Madhasiya 0.7781 hect., Dadra 0.0032 hect., Ohani 0.2449 hect., Paschimpatti 0.0500 hect., Jamalpur Madhasiya 0.0710 hect., Purabpatti 0.0147 hect., Bidharmaychak khajura 0.0332 hect., Chandpur 0.0299 hect., Nijampur 0.0085 hect., Mutkallipur 0.0250 hect., Bhabhuriya 0.0355 hect., Sajni 0.1170 hect., Chakiya 0.0792 hect., Pandey Pokhar 0.1747 hect., Jhushi 0.0426 hect., Miriya Redha 0.0843 hect., Fakhruddinpur 0.8277 hect., Kothara 0.1516 hect., Sakhiya 0.0200 hect.,72 RPH 2026 (Audyogik Vikas -2021) Data 8 e 6 mRrj çns'k vlk/kkj.k xtV] 9 vçSy] 2026 Kerma 0.0340 hect. of Tehsil-Nizamabad/Sagari/Phulpur/Sadar District-Azamgarh required for public purpose, namely Purvanchal Expressway Project through the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) and was lastly published on dated October 7, 2024.

The Deputy Collector/Assistant Collector, Tehsil Nizamabad/Sagari/Phulpur/Sadar, District-Azamgarh was appointed as Administrator for the purpose of rehabilitation and resettlement of the project affected families;

NOW, THEREFORE, after considering the report of the Collector submitted in pursuance of sub-section (2) of the Section 15 of the aforesaid Act, the Governor is pleased to declare under sub-section (1) of Section 19 of the aforesaid Act that she is satisfied that the area of the land mentioned in Schedule-A below is needed for public purpose and no land in the Village, Pargana and District as given in Schedule-B below has been identified for rehabilitation and resettlement of the displaced families (No family is likely to be displaced due to land acquisition for this project).

The Governor is further pleased under sub-section (2) of Section 19 of the aforesaid Act, to direct the Collector of Azamgarh to publish a summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme with publication of the declaration to this effect. The summary of the Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme is attached herewith. (No family is likely to be displaced due to land acquisition for Purvanchal Expressway.

Hence there is no need for identification of any land for rehabilitation and resettlement and publication of summary of Rehabilitation and Resettlement Scheme).
