vkKk ls] vfer xqIrk] izeq[k lfpoA 2 mRrj izns'k vlk/kkj.k xtV] 24 vçSy] 2026 THE Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of Government notification no. 6/2026/447/ XCIV-2&2026-700(13)-2026, dated April 24, 2026 : No. 6/2026/447/ XCIV-2&2026-700(13)-2026 Dated Lucknow, April 24, 2026 IN exercise of the powers under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Act no. 2 of 1899), as amended in its application to the State of Uttar Pradesh, the Governor, with effect from the date of the publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, is pleased to remit the stamp duty payable, under Article 35 of Schedule I-B of the aforesaid Act, on the License Agreement to be executed between the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Talakrit Foundation relating to the 52.102 acres of nazul land situated in Village-Manjha Jamthara, Tehsil-Sadar of District-Ayodhya that has been identified for construction/building of world class Temple Museum:
Provided that irrevocable bank guarantee of the amount equivalent to the remission of stamp duty in favour of the Inspector General Registration, Uttar Pradesh shall be presented before the registration officer at the time of registration of the aforesaid license agreement. Bank guarantee shall be released when the Museum will be operational.
