IN exercise of the power under Section 15 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Act no. 45 of 2023), the Governor is pleased to appoint from the date of issue of notification till December 31, 2026 for Festivals like Moharram, Janmashtami, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Baravafat, Deepavali etc., Shravan Jhule Mela, Deepotsav-2026 and Parikrama/Kartik Purnima Mela and other events in the District to maintain law & order, all Gazetted Officers and Subordinate Gazetted Officers of all departments of the State Government posted in District and all Officers holding posts carrying the Pay Level-6 Rs. 35400-112400 (Previously Pay Band-2 Rs. 9300-34800, Pay Grade Rs. 4200) and above in Local Authorities and Corporations or Bodies owned and controlled by the State Government, posted in District Ayodhya, as Special Executive Magistrate and to confer on them all the Powers of the Executive Magistrates as are conferrable under the said Sanhita on such Executive Magistrates, to be exercised within the limits of District Ayodhya, in which they are for the time being posted.
