IN exercise of the powers under section 130 of the Uttar Pradesh Co-operative Societies Act, 1965 (U.P. Act no. 11 of 1966) read with Section 21 of the Uttar Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1904 (U.P. Act no. 1 of 1904), the Governor is pleased to make the following rules with a view to amend the Uttar Pradesh Co-operative Societies Rules, 1968, namely:-
THE UTTAR PRADESH CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETIES (SIXTY-SECOND
AMENDMENT) RULES, 2026
1. (1) These rules may be called the Uttar Pradesh Co-operative Societies Short title and commencement
(Sixty-second Amendment) Rules, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Uttar Pradesh Co-operative Societies Rules, 1968 for the existing Amendment of Rule 254
sub-rule (8) of Rule 254 set out in Column-I below, the sub-rule as set out in Column-II shall be substituted, namely:-
