Whereas, the then existing Managing Committee had challenged their dissolution made by the Government of Goa, Secretariat, Porvorim- -Goa, vide order dated 13-06-2016 in Writ Petition No. 628/2016.
And whereas, the Hon'ble High Court of Bombay at Goa while disposing of the above Writ Petition had directed as follow:-
(i) The Mamlatdar shall commence the process of inquiry into the list of Mahajans for weeding out ineligible Mahajans from the list to be prepared.
(ii) While conducting the inquiry he has to hear all the parties and without hearing any of the Mahajans already in the list, they shall not be removed from the list.

(iii) He shall give fair opportunity to such Mahajans who have to establish their lineage to produce the necessary documents in support of their lineage and then hear them.

And whereas, in compliance with the above directions of the Hon'ble High Court, the undersigned has fixed a hearing from 15-02-2017 to 31-03-2017 at 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. and 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. as a date and time, for the compliance of the above directions, the venue being the office of the undersigned.
