During the meeting held on 17-08-2016, the representative of Member Secretary, District Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee, reviewed the provision laid under Rule 17(2) of POA Rules, 1995 regarding composition of District Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee. Rule 17(2) envisages for constitution of the Committee and as per the present District Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee, it was informed out that there is a shortfall of the composition of the members as mentioned in Rule 17(2) of POA Rules, 1995. A decision was taken to re-constitute the District Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee as per the provisions of law to make up the shortfalls in the existing Order.
Therefore, in supersession of this Office Order dated 10-09-07, the District Level Vigilance and Monitoring Committee is hereby re-constituted as per Government Notification dated 17-07-1996 and in pursuance of Rule 17 of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities)
