In exercise of the powers vested in me under sub-section 10A of the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968 and sub-rule (1) of Rule 5 of Goa Municipalities (Election) Rules, 1969, I, R. K. Srivastava, Commissioner, Goa State Election Commission, Panaji hereby appoint the Deputy Collector and S.D.M. of Ponda sub-division as Returning Officer for the ensuing General Elections to the Ponda Municipal Council.
Further, in exercise of the powers under sub-rule (2)(a) of Rule 5 of the Goa Municipalities (Election) Rules, 1969, I, appoint the Mamlatdar of Ponda Taluka as Assistant Returning Officer for the said elections.

OF GOA SERIES II No. 43 (EXTRAORDINARY) 30TH JANUARY, 2018 Notification The division of Electoral Rolls into different sections corresponding to different wards shall be done by the Mamlatdar of Bicholim Taluka in which the Municipal Councils are situated and the Voter's List so prepared shall be authenticated by the Dy. Collector & S.D.M. of the concerned sub-divisions.

In exercise of the powers vested in me under sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968 amended from time to time, I, R. K. Srivastava, Commissioner, Goa State Election
Commission, Panaji hereby notify that the Electoral Rolls of the Goa Legislative Assembly prepared under the provisions of Representation of People Act, 1950 on 1st January, 2018 as the qualifying date and for the time being in force as on 10th January, 2018 for such constituency of the
Assembly or any part thereof as in Ponda Municipal area shall be divided into different sections corresponding to different wards of Ponda Municipal Councils fixed by the Director of Municipal Administration under Section 10 of the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968 as per the
delimitation going to be notified by the Government.
The division of Electoral Rolls into different sections corresponding to different wards shall be done by the Mamlatdar of Ponda Taluka in which the Municipal Councils are situated and the
Voter's List so prepared shall be authenticated by the Dy. Collector & S.D.M. of the concerned sub-divisions.

In pursuance of Article 243ZA of the Constitution of India and sub-rule (1) of Rule 4 of the Goa Municipalities (Election) Rules, 1969, I, R. K. Srivastava, Goa State Election Commissioner do hereby declare that the General Elections for the above Municipal Councils shall be held on 6th May, 2018. The Schedule of elections shall be issued separately.

In exercise of the powers delegated to me vide the second proviso to sub-rule (1) of Rule 42 of the Goa Value Added Tax Rules, 2005, the last date for filing audited statement of accounts in Form VAT-XV for the financial year ended 31st March, 2017 is hereby extended upto 31st March, 2018. Accordingly, all the dealers liable to get their account audited under sub-section (1) of Section 70 of the Goa Value Added Tax Act, 2005 (Goa Act 9 of 2005) shall furnish the audited statement of accounts in Form VAT-XV for the year 2016-17, on or before the 31st March, 2018; failure to furnish the audited statement of accounts in Form VAT-XV within the extended time shall attract penalties as provided in Section 70 of the said Act.
