In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to rule 32 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, the Government of Goa hereby specifies that the fees to be charged under the provisions of Chapter II of the said Rules, shall be as shown in the Table "A" below:—

Note (1) Where a Smart card type driving licence is issued in Form 7, an additional fee of two hundred rupees shall be levied.
(2) The fees specified at serial numbers 1, 2 and 3 of the Table 'A' above shall be paid collectively at the time of submission of application for issue of learner's licence or driving licence or for endorsement of another class of vehicle, as the case may be.
Further, in exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to rule 81 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, the Government of Goa hereby specifies that the fees to be charged under the provisions of Chapter III of the said Rules shall be as shown in the Table "B" below:—

Note 1: Additional fee of two hundred rupees and processing fee of fifty rupees shall be levied if the certificate of registration is a smart card type issued or renewed in Form 23A.
Note 2: In case of delay in applying for renewal of certificate of registration, an additional fee of three hundred rupees for delay of every month or part thereof in respect of motor cycles and five hundred rupees for delay of every month or part thereof in respect of other classes of non- transport vehicles shall be levied, provided that such fees shall not exceed one thousand rupees in case of motor cycle and rupees four thousand in case of others.

Note: In case of delay in 56(2)(a) submission of 'No Objection and Certificate', an additional fee 57(1)(a) of three hundred rupees for delay of each month or part thereof in case of motor cycles and five hundred rupees for each month of delay or part thereof for other vehicles shall be levied, pro- vided that such fees shall not exceed one thousand rupees in case of motor cycle and rupees four thousand in case of others.

Note 1: For the removal of doubts, it is hereby clarified that medium passenger motor vehicles, heavy goods vehicles, imported motor vehicles or any other vehicles not mentioned against Serial No.4 of the above Table 'B' include both transport and non-transport vehicles.
Note 2: Where the certificate of registration issued is in the form of any Smart Card Type, an additional fee of rupees two hundred shall be charged except in the case of issue of fresh certificate of registration after cancellation of hire purchase or lease or hypothecation agreement.".
This Notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Whereas the Central Government has revised the wage rate from Rs. 229/- to Rs. 240/- per day under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) for the jobcard holder for unskilled manual work under section 6(1) of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Now therefore in view of the revision of the daily wage rate by the Central Government for the State of Goa, the wage rate of Rs. 229/- to be read as Rs. 240/- per day for jobcard holder for unskilled manual work under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme with effect from 1st April, 2017.
