Notification

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (4) of Rule 99 of the Goa Excise Duty Rules, 1964, the Government of Goa, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest, hereby directs that all licensed premises "for the sale of liquor" and "consumption of liquor in public places" (hereinafter called said area) located within the jurisdiction of Sanguem Municipal Council and Salcete Village Panchayat, Sazora ward as specified in column 4 of the Schedule (hereinafter called "the said area") located in the Municipal Council/ /Village Panchayat as specified in column 3 of the Taluka as specified in column 2 of the said schedule, shall be closed from 00.00 hrs. of 28-07-2018 till midnight of 30-07-2018, in view of polling and counting of votes.
