In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) (5) and (6) of Section 7 of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994 (Goa Act 14 of 1994) (hereinafter called the "said Act"), the Government of Goa hereby determines the number of members and wards reserved for women, Other Backward Classes and Scheduled Tribes as specified in column (2), (3) (4) and (5) respectively of the schedule appended hereto, in respect of Village Panchayat constituted under Section 3 of the said Act and specified in the corresponding entry in column No. (1) of the said schedule for North Goa District.

This Notification shall have effect for the purpose of ensuing General Election to the Village Panchayat Harvalem.

Read: Notification No. 19/DP/Election/V.P. Harvalem/2019/3051 dated 28-05-2019 published in Official Gazette Series II No. II (Extraordinary) dated 13-06-2019 in respect of Reservation of Women in Village Panchayat Harvalem, Bicholim Block/Taluka. Following corrections shall be carried out in the above mentioned Notification with immediate effect.

In the above referred Notification, * mark III and V (Ward Nos. reserved for Women) may be read as * I and III (Ward Nos. reserved for Women).
