In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 20(1) of Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the Government of Goa is pleased to confer powers of Additional District Magistrate to the officer shown in Annexure "A" and the powers of Executive Magistrates to the officials appointed as Sector Officers as shown in Annexure "B" below, for maintaining Law and Order situation during the General Elections to Lok Sabha, 2019 for 02-South Goa Parliamentary Constituency.

In compliance of directions issued by Hon'ble NGT vide Order dated 10th April, 2019 in OA No. 606/2018 and as per decision taken in the meeting of the State Level Committee (SLC) held on 18-04-2019, the Government of Goa is pleased to notify the following 6 (six) Village Panchayats in the State of Goa as model Village Panchayats.

Notification
No. DMA/ENGG/SWM(RMC)/2018-19/170
In compliance of para 39(ii) of the order of the Principal Bench, Hon'ble National Green Tribunal dated 10th April, 2019 in OA No. 606/2018 and as per the decision taken in the meeting of the State Level Committee (SLC) held on 18-04-2019, the Government of Goa is pleased to notify the following 3 (three) cities/towns in the State of Goa as model cities/towns.
