Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 116 of the above Act, I also authorise the erection of cautionary signboards "Speed Breaker" at about 40 mts. on either side of the speed breaker in advance of the speed breaker and traffic signboard showing the sign "Speed Breaker" at the placement of the speed breaker in order to regulate the motor vehicular traffic.
3. The Traffic Police shall deploy sufficient number of Traffic Marshals for guiding the motorists.
4. The Traffic Police shall put up "Road Closed" sign for the information of the motorists at appropriate places.
5. Notice of the road closure should be published
in local newspapers well in advance.
6. Concerned Police Station should be informed well in advance regarding the road closure.

Read:1) Report No. DYSP/TRF/NORTH/1267/2019 dated 28-10-2019 of the Dy. Superintendent of Police, Traffic (HQ), Altinho, Panaji-Goa.
Whereas, the Dy. Superintendent of Police, Traffic (North), Panaji-Goa, vide his letter referred to at (1) above has requested for temporary closure of road leading from Panaji Market to D.B.B. Marg along INOX Complex for all types of vehicular traffic for the period from 20-11-2019 to 28-11-2019 on account of 50th International Film Festival of India, 2019.
And Whereas, I am of the considered opinion that the said road should be closed for the purpose of 50th International Film Festival of India, 2019.
Now therefore, I, Vikas S. N. Gaunekar, District Magistrate, North Goa do hereby order the temporary closure of road from Panaji Market to D.B.B. Marg along INOX Complex for all types of vehicular traffic for the period from 20-11-2019 to 28-11-2019 on account of 50th International Film Festival of India, 2019 subject to the following conditions:
1. The road should be suitably barricaded and material used for the barricading the roads should be immediately removed and the road should be thrown open for vehicular flow as soon as the film festival is over.
2. Sufficient traffic signages should be erected
for the information of the motorists.
In exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 116 & 117 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and as recommended by the Dy. Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Panaji, I, Vikas S. N. Gaunekar, District Magistrate, North Goa, hereby notify the place mentioned in column No. 2 of the schedule below as "No Parking Zone" for all types of vehicles within the jurisdiction of Village Panchayat Calangute, Bardez-Goa.
