In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (4) of Rule 99 of the Goa Excise Duty Rules, 1964, the Government of Goa, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest, hereby directs that all licensed premises "for the sale of liquor" and "consumption of liquor in public places" (hereinafter called said area) located within the jurisdiction of Tiswadi and Bicholim Taluka, wards as specified in column 4 of the Schedule (hereinafter called "the said area") located in the Village Panchayat as specified in column 3 of the Taluka as specified in column 2 of the said schedule, shall be closed from 00.00 hrs. of 27-04-2019 till 00.00 hrs. of 29-04-2019 in view of polling & counting of votes.

This Notification shall remain in force only from

00.00 hrs. of 27-04-2019 till 00.00 hrs. of 29-04-2019 in view of General Election to Taleigao Village Panchayat at ward No. I to XI and vacant ward No. VI of Village Panchayat Ona-Maulinguem- -Kudchirem, Bicholim taluka.
