No. 5/26/GZPNS/Elec/2019-SEC/61
Whereas, the Zilla Panchayat Elections of Goa have been declared vide Notification No. 19/DP/
/ZP/ELN/2020 dated 10-01-2020.
Now therefore, the State Election Commission in exercise of the powers conferred upon it under Article 243K of the Constitution of India and Section 237(1) and (3) of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, do hereby notify as follows:-
(a) "that the Collector and District Magistrate, North Goa shall function as the overall Zilla Panchayat Election Officer (ZPEO) for North Goa Zilla Panchayat Elections; and
(b) the Collector and District Magistrate, South Goa shall function as the overall Zilla
Panchayat Election Officer (ZPEO) for South Goa".
This comes into force with immediate effect.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me vide
Rule 5 of the Goa Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat
(Election Procedure) Rules, 1996, I, R. K. Srivastava,
Commissioner of Goa State Election Commission,
hereby notify that the Electoral Roll of the Goa
Legislative Assembly prepared under the
provisions of Representation of People Act, 1950
(Central Act 43 of 1951) for the time being in force
as on 1st January, 2019 alongwith supplements for
such Constituencies of the Assembly or any part
thereof as is included in the area within the
jurisdiction of the Constituency of the Zilla
Panchayat shall be adopted for the purpose of
preparation of Electoral Roll for holding General
Elections to 25 Constituencies of North Goa Zilla
Panchayat and 25 Constituencies of South Goa Zilla
Panchayat as per the existing delimitation
Notification No. 19/35/DP/ELN/2015/(1) & 19/35/
/DP/ELN/2015/(2) dated 18-02-2015 issued by the
Government respectively.

In exercise of the powers vested in me under Section 203 of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, I, R. K. Srivastava, Commissioner, Goa State Election Commission hereby appoint the following Returning Officers and Asstt. Returning Officers as Requisitioning Authorities for the requisition of premises, vehicles, etc., for the purpose of General Elections to Zilla Panchayats.
1. The Dy. Collectors and S.D.O's of all sub-divisions in North Goa District and South Goa District.
3. The Mamlatdar of all twelve Talukas in Goa.
4. The Joint Mamlatdar-I of Bardez Taluka,
Mapusa-Goa.
5. The Joint Mamlatdar-I of Salcete Taluka,
Margao-Goa.
6. The Joint Mamlatdar-I of Ponda Taluka,
Ponda-Goa.
