In exercise of the powers conferred on me under sub-section (1) of Section 22 of the Protection of Human Rights Act, 1993 (Central Act No. 10 of 1994) and after obtaining the recommendations of the Committee specified in the proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 22, I, Shri Satya Pal Malik, Governor of Goa, hereby appoint Shri Utkarsh V. Bakre, Retd. Judge of the Bombay High Court as Chairperson and Shri Desmond D'Costa and Shri Pramod V. Kamat as Members of the Goa Human Rights Commission with effect from the date they assume charge of office.
