The following quantities of IMFL & Country Liquor are confiscated goods in favour of Government which will be auctioned in the premises of Excise Station, Sattari Taluka at 3.00 p.m. on 19-03-2020 to the bidders who offer the highest price. If necessary the auction for the 2nd time will be held at the above mentioned hours on 20-03-2020 at the same place.
Only license liquor vendors will be allowed to participate in the auction. The successful bidders will have to pay the bidding price immediately. The Government however, reserves the right to reject the bid without assigning any reason thereof. The bid will be final only after the approval by the Commissioner of Excise, Panaji. The Goa State Election Commission has issued directions to ensure free, fair, and peaceful Elections;
However, the above restrictions shall not apply to Public Servants/Police/Defence Personnel and Security Personnel on duty/sports persons who are members of National Rifle Association of India at different levels who have to participate in various sports events in which they use their arms, responsible persons of banks and its retainer and to those members of the community who are entitled to display weapons by long standing law, custom and usage, unless they are found to be indulging in violence or posing a threat to the maintenance of law and order and peaceful conduct of elections.
