Read: Notification No. DPSE/IV/Census 2021/2019/43 dated 8th January, 2020.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of Section 4 of the Census Act, 1948 (Census Act 37 of 1948) the Government of Goa has decided to postpone the conduct of field work of phase I of the Census 2021 and updation of NPR due to outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic until further orders.
This Notification is issued as per the directives of the Registrar General & Census Commissioner, India, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.
