In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 6 of the Goa Lotteries (Regulation) Rules, 2003, read with rule 3 of the Lotteries (Regulation) Rules, 2010 and section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897, the Government of Goa hereby rescinds the following Government Notification w.e.f. 01-02-2021 onwards, namely:—
(1) 1-174-2020-21/DSSL/750 dated 9th November, 2020, published in Official Gazette, Extraordinary No. 4, Series I No. 32 dated 11th November, 2020.

(k) The procedure for drawing the prize winning tickets or prize winners: As mentioned above. Prizes are drawn using a draw machine as stipulated in Lotteries (Regulation) Rules, 2010. The Goa Lotteries (Regulation) Rules, 2003, the Goa Computerised Network Lottery Rules, 2003 and the amendments made thereunder.
(l) One ticket can win prizes of one rank only whichever is highest in terms of prize money. Holder of said ticket shall be entitled for all the prizes of selected rank.
(m) The distributor and their sub-distributor/promoter/sub-agents/retailers are authorized to make payment of prizes up to Rs.10,000/- on behalf of Government of Goa.
(n) Lotteries are conducted strictly in compliance with the Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998, and the Lotteries (Regulation) Rules, 2010. The Goa Lotteries (Regulation) Rules, 2003, the Goa Computerised Network Lottery Rules, 2003, and amendments made thereunder OFFICIAL GAZETTE — GOVT. OF GOA SERIES I No. 42 (EXTRAORDINARY) 14TH JANUARY, 2021 (o) All the tickets printed, shall have Logo and Imprint of the State with specimen signature, Date of Draw, time of Draw, sale price of the tickets (MRP), Lottery Number with Series (Distinctive numbers), Bar Code as security measures.
Note: Details of Unsold Tickets if any shall be intimated by the Distributor before the Draw time by means of electronic media or internet or physically.
This Notification shall come into force with effect from 1st day of February, 2021.

In pursuance of the Government Notification No. D.Tpt/STA/2375-111/2019/351 dated 10th February, 2020, published in the Official Gazette, Series II No. 47 dated 20th February, 2020, and in supersession of Government Notification No. D.Tpt/STA/922/2014 dated 19th May, 2014 published in the Official Gazette, Series I No. 8 dated 22nd May, 2014, the State Transport Authority hereby fixes the following fares chargeable by the operators of contract carriages for hire in the State of Goa, namely:—
Rates of fare for Tourist Taxi, Motor cab and Maxi cab

Note:
(1) The above rates are for self employed Tourist Taxi Operators attached to Beach and Star Hotels.
(2) The Tourist Taxi fare rate in Column (4) to (7) applies to round trip journey.
(3) Taxi utilized for Night Journey after 10 p.m. till 5 a.m. will attract night charges of Rs. 100/- per hour.
(4) Taxi utilized after 10 p.m. till 5.00 a.m. will be charged 35% on the above tariff.
(5) All tolls, ferry charges, taxes if applicable and parking fees to be paid by the hirer/customer.
(6) In case passengers desire to avail the vehicle on sharing basis, the figures in Column (4) and (5) should be divided by the capacity of the vehicle so as to arrive at per passenger cost.
(7) If any vehicle of capacity, make and model is not covered in this list, the permit holder shall apply to STA for fixing the fares and updating the list.
(8) The permit holders shall display the fares at prominent place in their vehicles.
This Notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

Note:
(1) The rates at Column No. 4 to 6 applies to round Journey.
(2) The above fares are exclusive of Service Tax.
