Sub.:- Appointment of Returning Officer/Assistant Returning Officer for General Elections to Corporation of City of Panaji.
Whereas, the State Election Commission is vested with the power of superintendence, direction and control of the preparation of the electoral rolls and the conduct of all elections to the Corporation of City of Panaji, 2021.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested in me under Article 243 ZA of the Constitution of India read with Section 11 of The City of Panaji Corporation Act, 2002 and Rule 5 of the Corporation of City of Panaji, (Election) Rules, 2004, I, the undersigned, State Election Commissioner, Goa do hereby appoint the Officers mentioned below as the Returning Officer and Assistant Returning Officer for the ensuing General Elections to the Corporation of City of Panaji, 2021.

In exercise of the powers vested in me under Section 13 of the City of Panaji Corporation Act, 2002 amended from time to time, I, Chokha Ram Garg, IAS, Commissioner, Goa State Election Commission, hereby notify that the Electoral Rolls of the Goa Legislative Assembly prepared under the provisions of OFFICIAL GAZETTE — GOVT. OF GOA SERIES II No. 45 (EXTRAORDINARY No. 3) 8TH FEBRUARY, 2021 Representations of the People Act, 1950 and for the time being in force as on 1st January, 2021 (published on 15th January, 2021) for such constituency of the Assembly or any part thereof as is included in the Corporation area, shall be divided and authenticated by the Deputy Collector & SDM of Tiswadi Taluka into different Sections corresponding to thirty different wards in the City Corporation of Panaji to be fixed under sub-section (2) of Section 9 of the City of Panaji Corporation Act, 2002 as per the Notification No. 10/847/Election/CCP/DMA/2020/5114 dated 04-02-2021.

In exercise of the powers vested in me under sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968 amended from time to time, I, Chokha Ram Garg, IAS, Commissioner, Goa State Election Commission, Panaji hereby notify that the electoral rolls of the Goa Legislative Assembly prepared under the provisions of Representation of People Act, 1950 for the time being in force as on 1st January, 2021 (published on 15th January, 2021) for such constituency of the Assembly or any part thereof as is included in Municipal areas shall be divided into different sections corresponding to different wards in the Municipal Councils of Pernem, Mapusa, Bicholim, Valpoi, Margao, Cuncolim, Mormugao, Sanguem, Quepem, Curchorem-Cacora and Canacona as may be fixed by the Director of Municipal Administration under Section 10 of the Goa Municipalities Act, 1968, as per the delimitation vide Order No. 10/821-2019- -DMA/Election to 11 MC/5120 date: 04-02-2021 and Order No. 10/821-2019-DMA/Election to 11 MC/5121 date 04-02-2021 respectively.
The division of electoral rolls into different sections corresponding to different wards shall be done by the Mamlatdars of the respective Talukas in which the Municipal Councils are situated and the lists of voters so prepared shall be authenticated by the Dy. Collector & S.D.O. of the concerned sub-divisions.
