Whereas DBL-MBZ (JV) vide letter No. DBL- -MBZ(JV)/GOA/PKG-II/AE/2020/423, dated 4-12-2020 and the Authority Engineer vide lettter No. TPFEPL/NZB/SO/P-2601/2020-21/452 dated 04-12-2020 has requested for night closure for launching wing segment of 12.00 m. wide between the pier locations AP 15 to AP 19 in the stretch of NH-17 (NH-66) from Ch. 530/850 to 531/040 for one side lane at RHS.

Whereas notification was earlier issued by the Chief Engineer vide letter No. PWD/CE (NH, R&B)/ /F.GEN/2019-20/69 dated 18-06-2019, for the closure of stretch between Santrant slope to Cortalim junction on NH-17.

The Highway traffic shall be diverted in one lane by closing RHS lane between ch. 530/850 to ch. 531/040 for a distance of 190 m.

Spine/wing segment transportation from casting yard to site location shall be permitted during non peak hours of day time also. Non peak hours timing will be from 10.00 p.m. to 12.00 mid night and from 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Prominent proper signboards mentioning diversion periods with dates in Konkani, English and Hindi shall be displayed at diversion locations by the DBL MBZ(JV) in addition to all required road safety measurers as per laid down guidelines of IRC and MORTH specifications.
