Whereas, the Government vide Notification No. 5-40/91/LD(4) dated 23-08-1991, appointed Shri Ashok Savlaram Mashelkar, Advocate (hereinafter referred as the "Applicant") as a Notary for period of three years with effect from 23-08-1991, for the Panaji area;
And whereas, the Government vide Certificate of Practice dated 23-08-1991 has certified that the Applicant is authorized to practice as a Notary for a period of three years from 23-08-1991, for the Panaji area. Further, vide endorsement dated 18-10-2000, the area of practice has been extended to Tiswadi Taluka;
And whereas, the Government on the request of the Applicant had renewed his Certificate of Practice as a Notary for subsequent 07 terms and the period of validity of the Certificate of Practice expires on 22-08-2020 in the Endorsement dated 15-06-2020 issued to the Applicant. However, vide letter No. 3/1/2/2020-21/Registration/123 dated 12-01-2021 the State Registrar informed that in the inspection reports of the Civil Registrar-cum-Sub- -Registrar, it is found that the above applicant Shri Ashok Savlaram Mashelkar, Advocate who was practicing as a Notary expired;

In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Goa Homoeopathy Council, Act, 2001 (Goa Act No. 63 of 2001), and in supersession of the Government Notification No. 13/79/87-I/PHD dated 17-04-2002 published in the Official Gazette, Series II No. 20 dated 16-08-2002, the Government of Goa hereby re-establishes the Goa Board of Homoeopathy consisting of the following members, namely:-

In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Act No. 2 of 1899), as in force in the State of Goa, the Government of Goa, hereby permits the Life Insurance Corporation of India, Goa Divisional Office, Panaji (hereinafter referred to as the "LIC Goa") to pay a consolidated stamp duty of Rs. 30,00,000/- (Rupees Thirty Lakhs only) chargeable on sums to be insured in the insurance policies issued by its offices in the State of Goa, with effect from 1st January, 2021 upto 31st December, 2021 in lieu of affixing stamps upon individual insurance policies, subject the follow- ing conditions, namely:-
(a) In case the stamp duty chargeable on the insurance policies issued during the above mentioned period falls short of the stamp duty consolidated herein and paid to the Government, the excess consolidated stamp duty shall be adjusted for the next calendar year of 2022.
(b) In case the stamp duty chargeable on the
insurance policies issued during the above period exceeds the stamp duty consolidated herein and paid to the Government, the balance amount due towards the stamp duty shall be paid to the Government Treasury by LIC Goa latest by the first week of January,
2022.
(c) A detailed report of the total stamp duty
charged on the sums insured in the insurance policies issued by the offices of the LIC Goa in the State of Goa during the above period shall be submitted to the Secretary (Revenue), Revenue Department, Government of Goa on or before 31-12-2021.
