Whereas, the General Elections to elect thirty Councillors to the Corporation of the City of Panaji hereinafter called "The Corporation" were held by the Goa State Election Commission on Saturday, 20th March, 2021.
And whereas, the counting of votes polled by
contesting candidates was held on Monday, 22nd March, 2021.
And whereas, vide Notification No. 6/16/GECCP/ /2020/SEC/826 dated 22-03-2021, the Goa State Election Commission has published results of the Elections to "the Corporation" which have also
been published in the Official Gazette Extraordinary No. 6, Series II No. 51 dated 22nd March, 2021.
Now, therefore, in terms of Section 16 of the City of Panaji Corporation Act, 2002 it is hereby notified that the following Councillors who are elected in Ward Nos. mentioned against their names shall OFFICIAL GAZETTE — GOVT. OF GOA SERIES II No. 51 (EXTRAORDINARY No. 9) 24TH MARCH, 2021 amended, every Councillor shall be required to take Oath of Office in the form specified for the purpose.

It is further notified that the first meeting of the Corporation shall be held on 30-03-2021 at 11.00 a.m. to elect the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Standing Committee and Special Consultative Committees of the Corporation in compliance of Sections 26 and 27 of the City of Panaji Corporation Act, 2002. The Commissioner of the Corporation shall call the said meeting for the specified purpose.
