On recommendation of the Goa Public Service Commission as conveyed vide letter No. COM/I/5/ /2(1)/2019-20 (Part file I)/791 dated 30-11-2020, the Governor of Goa is pleased to appoint Shri Dheeraj Shamsundar Parab against the post of Assistant
Agriculture Officer as probationer to Group "B" Gazetted under the Government of Goa, in the Level 6 of the Pay Matrix and post him at Zonal Agriculture Office, Pernem. The pay will be fixed in accordance with the Central Civil Service (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016 with immediate effect.

Societies, ABN/EXE, North Goa District, Ponda-Goa or the Nominee of Registrar or such other authority authorised by the Registrar is hereby extended for further period of one year on following conditions.
1. The Officer empowered with the powers of Sales-cum-Recovery Officer shall work under the general guidance, superintendence and control of the Asstt. Registrar of Co-operative Societies, Arbitration/Execution, North Goa District, Ponda-Goa.
2. He shall follow all the procedures as laid down under the Goa Co-operative Societies Act, 2001 and the Goa Co-operative Societies Rules, 2003 or in compliance with any other relevant provisions of any other Act/Rules and also bye-laws of the society concerned while execution of decree.
3. The Board of Directors of the society shall be fully responsible along with the Officer empowered with the powers of Sales-cum- -Recovery Officer for any acts in contravention of the Act, Rules and Bye-laws.
4. The Board of Directors shall review the performance of the Officer empowered with the powers of Sales-cum-Recovery Officer every month and ensure compliance.
5. The above extension Order shall remain in force for further period of one year from the date of its issue and the same can also be withdrawn at any stage without assigning any reason thereof.

In pursuance of the powers vested under Section
126A of the Goa Co-operative Societies Act, 2001, the Government of Goa hereby exempts Utkarsh Residency Co-operative Housing Society Ltd., Pundalik Nagar, Porvorim, Bardez-Goa from the provisions of Section 60(3)(b) of the Goa Co-operative Societies Act, 2001 so as to enable the society to
constitute its full fledged Board.

And whereas, in order to enable the factories to deal with said exceptional press of work in view of said crisis, there is a need for relaxing certain provisions of The Factories Act, 1948 (Central Act No. 63 of 1948) (hereinafter called the "said Act") thereby extending the working hours for optimum utilization of the workers in the factories which have been operating under the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and the Government of Goa from time to time.

Now therefore, in light of the above and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 65 of the said Act, the Government of Goa hereby exempts all of the adult workers working in all of the factories situated in the State of Goa, who are not holding positions of supervision or management and/or not employed in a confidential position within the meaning of sub- section (1) of Section 64 of the said Act, from the provisions of Sections 51, 52, 54 and 56 of the said Act, for a period upto 30th September, 2021 with effect from the date of publication of this Order in the Official Gazette, subject to the following conditions, namely:-
(i) the total number of hours of work in any day
shall not exceed twelve;
(ii) the spread over, inclusive of intervals for rest, shall not exceed thirteen hours in any one day;
(iii) the total number of hours of work in any week, including overtime, shall not exceed sixty;
(iv) no worker shall be allowed to work overtime, for more than seven days at a stretch and the total number of hours of overtime work in any quarter shall not exceed seventy five;
(v) no worker shall work for more than five hours before he has had an interval for rest of at least half an hour;

No. 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Village Chaudi, Taluka Canacona, District South Goa, State of Goa, from the operation of the provisions of Sections 30, 32 and 33 of the said Code subject to the condition that the said land shall be used exclusively for the purpose of Agricultural Market Yard which has been constructed thereon.
