Barnabas Rock Fernandes, said Philip Barnabas Rock Fernandes, who expired on 10-02-2008 at Cumborda, Verna, intestate without executing any Will or any other disposition of his last wish, without any children. Thereafter the Releasing Party to this deed Cecilia Fernandes stated to me the following: That she by this deed cede, release, renounce and relinquish all her illiquid and undivided rights in the estate of her mother late Candida Viegas e Rodrigues who expired on 18-08-2016 and brother late Santana Rodrigues alias Santano Rodrigues who expired on 25-04-2021 at Bacbhat, Raia, which release she does so in favour of other remaining co-heirs in terms of Section 30 of the Goa Succession and Inventory Proceedings Act, 2012 in force in this State of Goa. The declarants stated further that upon the death of father who expired on 21-07-1994 a Deed of Succession has been drawn on 19-02-1998 recorded at folios 56v to 58, under Deed Book No. 1392, and there upon the death of mother Smt. Candida Viegas e Rodrigues alias Candita Viegas alias Candida Veiga alias Candida Viegas who expired on 18-08-2016 a Deed of Succession has been drawn on 21-06-2017 at folio 55v to 56, Deed Book No. 1640. The declarants stated further the daughter Smt. Cecilia Fernandes and her husband Philip Barnabas Rock Fernandes have relinquished their rights acquired on the death of their father/father- -in-law Paulo Francis Rodrigues alias Paulo Francisco Rodrigues alias Paulo Antonio Rodrigues which release they did in favour of other remaining co-heirs in terms of Article two thousand and twenty nine of the Portuguese civil code in force in this State of Goa, which deed is recorded under Book No. 1388 at pages 45 onwards dated 13-10-1997 in the office of the than Notary Ex-Officio at Margao, Salcete. That they the declarants are perfectly aware of all the facts stated by them since they are in close contact and in good harmony with the family of the deceased person, are in no way related to the deceased person, nor to the duly qualified heirs, nor they in making the present statement have any other interest rather than that of testifying the truth on oath and under their responsibility that upon the death of Santana Rodrigues alias Santano Rodrigues.
