In exercise of the powers conferred by

section 22 read with section 3A of the Goa

Excise Duty Act, 1964 (Act 5 of 1964), the

Government of Goa hereby makes the

following rules so as to further amend the

Goa, Daman and Diu Uniforms and

Allowances to the Excise Executive Staff

Rules, 1980, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (1)

These rules may be called the Goa Uniforms

and Allowances to the Excise Executive Staff

(Amendment) Rules, 2021.

(2) They shall come into force on the date

of their publication in the Official Gazette.

Allowances to the Excise Executive Staff

Rules, 1980, the expression ", Daman and

Diu" shall be omitted.

makes the following rules so as to further

amend the Goa, Daman and Diu Excise Duty

Rules, 1964, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (1)

These rules may be called the Goa Excise

Duty (Amendment) Rules, 2021.

(2) They shall come into force on the date 2. Amendment of Rule 1.— In rule 1 of the of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment of Rule 1.— In rule 1 of the Goa, Daman and Diu Excise Duty Rules, 1964 (hereinafter referred to as the "principal Rules"), the expression ", Daman and Diu" shall be omitted.

3. Amendment of rule 2.— In rule 2 of the principal Rules, in clause (a), the expression ", Daman and Diu" shall be omitted.

4. Amendment of Form E-12C.— In Form E-12C, the expression ", Daman and Diu", wherever it occurs, shall be omitted.
