The following quantities of IMFL & Country Liquor are confiscated goods in favour of Government which will be auctioned in the premises of Excise Station, Sattari Taluka at 3.00 p.m. on 27-04-2021 to the bidders who offer the highest price. If necessary the auction for the next day on 28-04-2021 will be continued at the above mentioned hours at the same place.

Only license liquor vendors will be allowed to participate in the auction. The successful bidders will have to pay the bidding price immediately. The Government however, reserves the right to reject the bid without assigning any reason thereof. The bid will be final only after the approval by the Commissioner of Excise, Panaji. Whereas the work of obtaining deck levels and inspection of existing Zuari bridge located on National Highway-17 is planned from 6.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. on first Sunday i.e. on 02nd May, 2021, for which the bridge needs to be closed for all ongoing traffic and needs to be diverted via Borim on NH-17B and also via ferry boats from across river Zuari from Cortalim to Agassaim & vice versa.

Whereas power to function as highway administration as delegated vide SO No. 3292E duly published in Gazette of India vide No. 3012 Extraordinary Part-II Section 3 sub-section (ii) dated 16-09-2019 to the respective Executive Engineer to discharge the functions of Highway Administration under Section 33 of control to National Highway Act, 2002.

Whereas MORT&H vide letter No. NH-11011/33/ /2019-LA dated 18-09-2019 has confirmed delegated of powers to the competent authority to discharge the functions of Highway Administration.

The Secretary, Village Panchayat, Corlim, Tiswadi is directed to publish this notification through the Director of Information and Publicity in local newspapers and P. W.D. (Engineering Cell) to make necessary arrangements to construct the Speed Breakers as also Rumbles Speed Breakers and to erect the signboards at the places indicated above as per the specification laid down by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and as published in the Official Gazette Series I No. 15 dated 15-07-2005 by the Government of Goa and report compliance within fifteen days time.
