The following Order of the Governor of Goa, is hereby published for general information Shripad Arlekar, Under Secretary (GA-II).

Whereas a general election has been held for the purpose of constituting a new Legislative Assembly for the State of Goa;
And whereas the Election Commission of India vide Notification No. 308/GOA-LA/ /2022 dated 10-03-2022 has published the constitution of new Legislative Assembly of Goa;
And Whereas the term of the present Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa will expire on 15-03-2022;
And Whereas it is deemed expedient to dissolve the present Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa;
Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-clause (b) of clause (2) of Article 174 of the Constitution of India, I, P. S. Sreedharan Pillai, Governor of Goa, hereby dissolve the present Legislative Assembly of the State of Goa, with immediate effect.
