The following Order of the Governor of Goa dated 23rd March, 2022 is hereby published for general information:
"Order
While the Office of Speaker is vacant in Goa Legislative Assembly, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Article 180(1) of the Constitution of India, read with Rule 10 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business of the Goa Legislative Assembly, I, P. S. Sreedharan Pillai, Governor of Goa, hereby appoint Shri Ganesh Gaonkar, a Member of the Goa Legislative Assembly, to perform the duties of the Office of the Speaker with effect from 23rd March, 2022, until the Speaker shall have been chosen by the said Assembly.
