OF GOA SERIES II No. 15 14TH JULY, 2022 pleased to appoint Shri Sanjay Motiram Chodankar as the President of the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, South Goa on full-time basis w.e.f. 06-07-2022 (b.n.) on the recommendation of the Selection Committee.
1. The President of the District Commission shall hold the office for a term of four years or up to the age of 65 years whichever is earlier as per the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
2. The President of the District Commission shall be entitled to the salary and allowances as are admissible to a District Judge in the super time scale of pay.
3. The pay of a person appointed as President who is in receipt of any pension, shall be reduced by the gross amount of pension drawn by him.
4. The expenditure on account of his salary shall be debitable to the Budget Head Demand No. 70, "3456—Civil Supplies; 001—Director and Administration; 04 — Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Non-Plan); 01— Salaries".

The posting of Officers at Sr. No. 1 and 2 will be on deputation basis initially for a period of one year. They shall be governed as per the standard terms of deputation contained in the O.M. No. 13/4/74-PER dated 20-11-2013 of the Personnel Department, Government of Goa. The Organization/Agency shall be liable to pay to the Government leave salary and pension contribution in respect of these Officers at the prescribed rates. On expiry of the deputation period, the Officers shall necessarily be relieved to report back to the parent Department, unless the deputation period is extended by the competent authority. In the event the officers overstay for any reason whatsoever, they will be liable for disciplinary action and other adverse civil/service consequences.
The above mentioned officers promoted to the post of Joint Director of Accounts shall join their promotional posts or convey the acceptance of the promotional post within 10 days of issue of the promotion order.
On joining their promotional/new post, the Officers shall send their CTC/Joining reports immediately to this Directorate.

Whereas, the Government of Goa is of the opinion that an industrial dispute exists between the management of M/s. Netzsch Technologies India Private Limited, L-10, Verna Industrial Estate, Verna, Goa and it's workmen represented by the Bhartiya Kamgar Sena, in respect of the matter specified in the Schedule hereto (hereinafter referred to as the "said dispute");
And whereas, the Government of Goa considers it expedient to refer the said dispute for adjudication.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of Section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act 14 of 1947) (hereinafter referred to as the "said Act"), the Government of Goa hereby refers the said dispute for adjudication to the Industrial Tribunal of Goa at Panaji-Goa, constituted under Section 7A of the said Act.

The Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India has launched initiatives like Aspirational Skill Abhiyaan and Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP) to provide an impetus to "Skill lndia Mision" and to meet the objectives by adopting bottom up approach in State level planning.
The Skill Ecosystem has been evolved at National and State level and the same is to be replicated at District level, thereby facilitate on-ground implementation of various skilling initiatatives of MSDE, GoI and ensure indepth consistency in skilling ecosystem to include all sections of the Society.
As per directives of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India, the Government is pleased to constitute District Skill Committee (DSC) for both the Districts in the State to facilitate on-ground implementation of various Skilling initiatives of Government of India at District level. The Composition of the District level Skill Committees (DSC) for North Goa District is as under:-

9) Mentor new Vocational Institutes
10) Develop infrastructure and facilities for placement and job melas, counselling centres for vocational graduates, awareness about National Career Centre, Skill Exchange, Model Career Centre.
11) Monitoring progress of apprenticeship
schemes.
12) Organising of Convocation for vocational
graduates.
13) Monitoring progress of various State and
Central Schemes.
14) Ensure convergence of funds under various
schemes.
15) Facilitate entrepreneurship development.
16) To set up District Nodal Skill Centre (DNSC) at District level for functioning of the DSC.

The Committee may Co-opt additional members on the Committee for efficient implementation of the mandate of the Committee.
