In exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 112 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and Rule 264A of the Motor Vehicles Rules, 1991 as
amended in 2005 and as recommended by the Dy. Superintendent of Police (Traffic) North, Altinho Goa and the Executive Engineer, WD-XIII (R), PWD
Mapusa-Goa I, Mamu Hage, IAS District Magistrate, North Goa hereby notify "Speed Breakers" on the internal roads at the place mentioned in Column
No. 2 of the schedule below in the jurisdiction of Village Panchayat Socorro, Bardez Taluka.
constructed at a distance admeasuring 08.60 Breaker mtrs. away from the left side of the existing Electric Pole bearing No. LT- 062-371 near the house of Fatima Fernandes and the Second hump type speed breaker to be constructed opposite to the existing Electric Pole bearing No. LT- 062-37 near the side road leading towards the house of Cony Pinto, Alto Porvorim, Socorro, Bardez-Goa.
The above Speed Breakers and Thick Rumbler
Strips shall be painted with white thermoplastic
fluorescent paint and fixed with blinkers for better
visibility.
Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on
me under Section 116 of the above Act, I also
authorize the erection of cautionary sign boards
"Speed Breaker Ahead" at about 40 mts. on the left
side of the road at the placement of the Speed
Breaker & Rumbler Strips in order to regulate the
motor vehicular traffic.
The Secretary, Village Panchayat Socorro, Bardez,
is directed to publish this notification through the
Director of Information and Publicity in newspapers
and P.W.D to make necessary arrangements to erect
the sign boards at the places indicated above as
per the specification laid down by the Ministry of
Road Transport and Highways and as published in
the Official Gazette by the Government of Goa and
report compliance within thirty days time.

The above Speed Breaker shall be painted with white thermoplastic fluorescent paint and fixed with blinkers for better visibility.
Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 116 of the above Act, I also authorize the erection of cautionary sign boards "Speed Breaker Ahead", at about 40 mts. on either side of the speed breaker in advance of the speed breaker and traffic sign board showing the sign "Speed Breaker" at the placement of the speed breaker in order to regulate the motor vehicular traffic.
The Secretary, Village Panchayat Varcond Nagzar, Pernem is directed to publish this notification through the Director of Information and Publicity in local newspapers and P.W.D. (Engineering Cell), to make necessary arrangements to erect the sign board at the places indicated above as per the specification laid down by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and as published in the Official Gazette by the Government of Goa and report compliance within thirty days time.
