A Scheme for Goa State Cooperative Awards and Assistance (Third

Amendment) Scheme, 2022 and amended from time to time vide above read notifications, as under.

1. In the said scheme, for sub-clause (1) of clause 5, the following sub-clause shall be substituted.

(1) There shall be a committee of 5 persons of repute who have adequate knowledge about the cooperative movement in the State. It will be constituted by the Government for each year to select deserving persons and Cooperative Societies for Awards and Assistance under the scheme. This committee shall be known as "Goa State Cooperative Award and Assistance Selection Committee". None of the members of the said committee shall be a serving Officer of the Department of Cooperation.

This notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

The Goa Fruit and Ornamental Plant Nurseries (Regulation) (Amendment) Act, 2022 (Goa Act 30 of 2022), which has been passed by the Legislative Assembly of Goa on 22-07-2022 and assented to by the Governor of Goa on 10-10-2022, is hereby published for the general information of the public.

Nurseries (Regulation) (Amendment) Act, 2022

(Goa Act No. 30 of 2022) [10-10-2022]

AN

ACT

to amend 'The Goa Fruit and Ornamental Plant Nurseries (Regulation) Act, 1995 (Goa Act 13 of 1997).

Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly

of Goa in the Seventy-third Year of the

Republic of India as follows:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) This

Act may be called the Goa Fruit and

Ornamental Plant Nurseries (Regulation)

(Amendment) Act, 2022.

(2) It shall come into force at once.

1. Amendment of section 15.— In section 15

of the Goa Fruit and Ornamental Plant

Nurseries (Regulation) Act, 1995 (Goa Act 13

of 1997) for the expression "with fine which

may extend to one thousand rupees, or

imprisonment for a term which may extend to

one month, or with both", the expression "with

fine which may extend to five thousand

rupees" shall be substituted.
