In exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 115 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and as recommended by the Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Panaji I, Mamu Hage, IAS District Magistrate, North Goa hereby notify the places mentioned in Column No. 2 of the schedule below as "Banning/Stopping" (No Entry) and divert the movement of heavy vehicles during School hours i.e. 07:00 hrs. to 08:00 hrs. and 12:30 hrs. to 14:00 hrs. only on school days within the jurisdiction of Tiswadi, Bardez and Bicholim, North Goa.

The works be strictly as per the specifications along with installation of necessary cautionary signboards and roads markings of thermoplastic paint, fixing of cat eyes, as per IRC specification laid down by the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways and as published in the Official Gazette Series I No. 15 dated 15th July, 2005 by the Government of Goa. The sign boards shall be installed as per specifications laid in the Seventh Scheduled under the Goa Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2005 & shall be located 40 meters in advance of the hump type speed breaker and at the placement of the speed breaker.
