In exercise of the powers conferred under Sections 112 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988) read with Government Executive Engineer, W. D. VI. (Roads), P.W.D. Fatorda, Margao-Goa shall take necessary steps for erection of "hump type speed breaker" on the above locations along with installation of cautionary signboards i.e. speed breaker ahead, road markings of thermoplastic luminous paint/strips, median markings for better visibility, guidance of motorists and embedded cat-eyes as per IRC specifications laid down by the Ministry of Road Transport & Highway & as published in the Official Gazette OFFICIAL GAZETTE — GOVT. OF GOA SERIES III No. 50 16TH MARCH, 2023 Series I No. 15 dated 15th July, 2005, by the Government of Goa. The signboards shall be installed as per specifications laid in the scheduled under the Goa Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2005 and shall be located 40 meter in advance of the first speed breakers and the placement of the speed breakers.
Action taken report including photographs of the work executed must be submitted to this office within 30 days.
