In exercise of the powers conferred under Sections 112 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, Executive Engineer, W. D. VI (Roads), P.W.D., Fatorda, Margao-Goa, shall take necessary steps for erection of "Hump Type Speed Breaker" on the above locations along with installation of cautionary signboards i.e. speed breaker ahead, road markings of thermoplastic luminous paint/strips, median markings for better visibility, guidance of motorists and embedded cat-eyes as per IRC specifications laid down by the Ministry of Road, Transport and Highways and as published in the Official Gazette, Series I No. 15 dated 15th July, 2005 by the Government of Goa. The signboards shall be OFFICIAL GAZETTE — GOVT. OF GOA SERIES III No. 16 20TH JULY, 2023 installed as per specifications laid in the Scheduled under the Goa Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rule, 2005 and shall be located 40 meters in advance of the first hump type speed breakers and the placement of the hump type speed breakers.
