In exercise of the powers conferred u/s 112 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988) read with Government Notification No. 5/28/88/TPT (Part) dated 26th September, 1989 and Rule 264-A of the Goa Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Rules, 2005, I, A. Asvin Chandru, IAS, District Magistrate, South Goa, Margao, in public interest do hereby notify the "Hump Type Speed Breaker and Rumble Strips" and traffic signages as indicated in schedule below and also direct cautionary signboards demarcating the location for the visibility of the road users for the purpose of regulating Motor Vehicle Traffic.

Action taken report including photographs of the work executed must be submitted to this office within 30 days.
