6/1/2023-Fin(DMU)/539 OFFICIAL GAZETTE — GOVT. OF GOA SERIES I No. 35 30TH NOVEMBER, 2023 4. (ii) The Bank should be a Scheduled Commercial Bank and have a deposit base 2. Amendment of Schedule.— In the Schedule appended to the Business of the Government of Goa (Allocation) Rules, 1987,— of Rs. 1500 crores and an advances base of Rs. 750 crores in the State of Goa.

In exercise of the powers conferred by
Article 166 of the Constitution of India and
all other powers enabling him in this behalf,
the Governor of Goa hereby makes the
following rules so as to further amend the
Business of the Government of Goa
(Allocation) Rules, 1987, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.— (1)
These rules may be called the Business of
the Government of Goa (Allocation) (Forty-
seventh Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on the date
of their publication in the Official Gazette.
(i) at serial number 5, under the heading "Department of Education and Art & Culture", clause (e) shall be omitted;
(ii) after serial number 53, the following
shall be inserted, namely:—
"54. Directorate of Museums:
(a) Collection, documentation, preservation and display of objects of archaeological, artistic, cultural and scientific significance in the State of Goa.
(b) Preparation of inventories of all antiquities, objects of archaeological ar tistic, cultural and scientific significance in the State of Goa from the possession of State run Museums, private Museums, collections of individuals and other organizations.
(c) Establishing Museums in different
parts of the State of Goa.
(d) Promoting Museum Education and
Research among the students and
scholars.
(e) Providing licenses for Government, semi-Government and private Museums in Goa and framing legislations for controlling them.".
