GOVERNMENT OF GOA

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Goa Department of Forest

Preservation of Trees (Amendment) Rules, ___

2023.

Notification

(2) They shall come into force on the 7/2/2023-FOR/361

date of their publication in the Official

Gazette.

2. Amendment of rule 6A.— In rule 6A of

the Goa, Daman and Diu Preservation of Trees

Rules, 1983, for clause (b), the following

clause shall be substituted, namely:—

"(b) Security deposit for Rs. 1,000/- per ensuring regeneration tree in case of an of the area and re-planta- individual and tion of trees or otherwise Rs. 5,000/- per tree in other cases.".

The Goa State Incentives to Encourage Investments (Second Amendment) Scheme, 2023

In partial modification to the Notification

read at Serial No. 1 above, for (ii) Clause 4.2

(a) and (e), the following shall be substituted,

namely:—

(a) Application under 'Capital Subsidy

Scheme, 2017', Incentive to Industries for

Training Prospective Employees Scheme,

2017, Financial Incentives for Certification

and Intellectual Property Rights

Reimbursement Scheme, 2017 and Green

Investments Scheme, 2017, shall be made

within one year of date of commencement

of production of the unit as mentioned

in the Udyam registration or conducting

training or obtaining the Cer tificate of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) or making the investments as applicable, respectively.

(e) However, all applications under all schemes received until 30-03-2023 shall be considered as valid and accepted.

The rest of the content of the said

notification shall remain unchanged.

This shall come into force with immediate

effect.

This issues with the concurrence of Finance (Expenditure) Department vide U. O. No. 1400095811 dated 25-11-2023.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 5 of the Inland Vessels Act, 2021 (Central Act 24 of 2021), the Government of Goa hereby appoints the Captain of Ports, Panaji-Goa, as a designated authority for the whole State of Goa for the purpose of exercising and discharging the powers, authority and duties conferred, by and under the said Act and the rules made thereunder.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of section 20 of the Inland Vessels Act, 2021 (Central Act 24 of 2021), the Government of Goa hereby appoints the places as specified in column (2) of the Table below to be ports or places of registry.

Further, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 20 of the said Act, the Government of Goa hereby appoints the Captain of Ports, Panaji-Goa, to be the Registrar of Inland Vessels in respect of the ports as specified in column (2) of the said Table.
