The Department of Tourism has awarded the Contract for Operation and Maintenance of Parking area at Colva, Salcete-Goa in the land admeasuring 14,651 sq. m. under Survey No. 40/Part/1, 37/2, 37/3, 37/4, 37/5, 37/6, 37/7, 37/8, 37/10, 37/11, 38/1, 23/1 in the village Colva of Salcete Taluka, South Goa District, Goa.
The Parking rates are detailed below:

In exercise of the powers conferred on me under Sections 115 & 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and on the basis of the recommendation of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Altinho Panaji, I, Dr. Sneha S. In exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 112 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 and Rule 264A of the Motor Vehicles Rules, 1991 as amended in 2005 and as recommended by the Asstt. Engineer, SD-III, Works Div. XIII, PWD, Mapusa, Bardez-Goa and the Dy. Superintendent of Police, (Traffic) North, Altinho-Goa, I, Dr. Sneha S. Gitte, IAS, District Magistrate, North Goa hereby notify "Speed Breakers" at the places mentioned in Column No. 2 of the schedule below in the jurisdiction of Village Panchayat Parra, Bardez Taluka.

1. First hump type speed breakers to be Speed
constructed at a distance admeasuring Breaker 10 meters on the road leading towards (Hump Anjuna side from the inner road leading Type) towards Fondac Vaddo, Parra, Bardez-Goa.
Second hump type speed breakers to be constructed at a distance admeas- uring 05 meters on the road leading towards Mapusa side from the road leading towards Neeta Traders Shop, Parra, Bardez-Goa.
The above Speed Breakers shall be painted with white thermoplastic fluorescent paint and fixed with blinkers for better visibility.
Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 116 of the above Act, I also authorize the erection of cautionary signboards "Speed Breaker Ahead" at about 40 mts. on the left side of the road at the placement of the speed breaker in order to regulate the motor vehicular traffic.
The Sarpanch/Secretary Village Panchayat Parra, Bardez-Goa, is directed to publish this notification through the Director of Information and Publicity in newspapers and P.W.D to make necessary arrangements to erect the signboards at the places indicated above as per the specification laid down by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways and as published in the Official Gazette by the Government of Goa and report compliance within thirty days time.
