Now therefore the Clause 1 (ii) of the "Scheme to provide Special Financial Grants for organizing Cultural Events" is amended to read as under:
"1 (ii) This scheme shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette and shall remain in force up to 31st March, 2024".

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India and in supersession of the Government Notification No. 1/27/86-PER dated 08-05-1998, published in the Official Gazette, Series I No. 13 dated 25-06-1998, the Governor of Goa hereby makes the following rules to regulate the recruitment to the Goa General Service, Group 'B', Gazetted, Non- Ministerial post, in the Captain of Ports Department, Government of Goa, namely:—
1. Short title, application and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Goa, Captain of Ports Department, Group 'B', Gazetted, Non- Ministerial post, Recruitment Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall apply to the post specified in column (1) of the Schedule to these rules (hereinafter called as the "said Schedule").
(3) They shall come into force from the date
of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Number, classification and level in the pay matrix.— The number of posts, classification of the said post and the level in the pay matrix thereof shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of the said Schedule:
Provided that the Government may vary the number of posts as specified in column (2) of the said Schedule from time to time subject to exigencies of work.
4. Disqualification.— No person who has
entered into or contracted a marriage with a
person having a spouse living or who, having
a spouse living, has entered into or contracted
a marriage with any person, shall be eligible
for appointment to the service:
Provided that the Government may, if
satisfied that such marriage is permissible
under the personal law applicable to such
person and the other party to the marriage
and that there are other grounds for so doing,
exempt any person from the operation of this
rule.
5. Power to relax.— Where, the Government
is of the opinion that it is necessary or
expedient so to do, it may, by order, for
reasons to be recorded in writing and in
consultation with the Goa Public Service
Commission, relax any of the provisions of
these rules with respect to any class or
category of persons.
6. Saving.— Nothing in these rules shall
affect reservation, relaxation of age limit and
other concessions required to be provided
for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other
Backward Classes, ex-servicemen and other
special categories of persons in accordance
with the orders issued by the Government
from time to time in that regard.
These rules are issued in consultation with
the Goa Public Service Commission vide their
letter No. COM/II/13/13/(1)/97/18 dated
04-04-2023.

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- sections (1) and (2) of section 47 of the Goa Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Act, 2019 (Goa Act 19 of 2019), the Government of Goa hereby makes the following rules, so as to amend the Goa Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Rules, 2021, namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Goa Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) (First Amendment) Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on the date
of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment of rule 9.— In rule 9 of the Goa Clinical Establishments (Registration and Regulation) Rules, 2021, after sub-rule (1), the following sub-rule shall be inser ted, namely:—
"(2) An application referred in sub-rule (1) shall be accompanied by the following documents, namely:—
(i) A certificate of Registration from respective Council from Goa in respect of doctor.
(ii) Authorization from the Goa State Pollution Control Board under Bio- Medical Waste (Management and Handling) Rules.
(iii) Address proof of the clinical
establishment".

Note:- The above fees are chargeable as per transfer fees stipulated by the Council and as approved by Director of Municipal Administration.

OFFICIAL GAZETTE — GOVT. OF GOA SERIES I No. 5 4TH MAY, 2023Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) 2005, the Central Government has enhanced the wage rate from Rs. 315/- to Rs. 322/- per day to the job seekers for unskilled manual work for the State of Goa vide Notification No. S.O. 1425 (E) published in the Gazette of India Part II–section 3–sub-section (ii) dated 24th March, 2023.
In view of the above enhancement of wages under MGNREGA for the State of Goa, the wage rate of Rs. 315/- to be read as 322/- per day for jobseekers for unskilled manual work under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGS) with effect from 1st April, 2023.

The maximum built up area permissible for a farm house irrespective of the area of plot will be 500m2." shall be read as "10% subject to a maximum built up area of 1,000m2 per holding.
