In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (iv) of sub-rule (1) of Rule 174 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, the Government of Goa hereby nominates the Director of Directorate of Transport as the Registering Authority.
This Notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule 186 of the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, the Government of Goa hereby appoints the Secretary (Transport), Government of Goa, to decide appeals against the orders of the Registering Authority.
This Notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
