Sub.: Amendment in "The Goa State Village
Panchayat/NGO's Libraries Financial
Assistance Scheme, 2018".

The Government is pleased to amend The
Goa State Village Panchayat/NGO's Libraries
Financial Assistance Scheme, 2018 at Clauses
5(i), 6(i), 7(i), 8(i) and (ii) which may be read
as below:
5. Class 'A' Libraries.— (i) Class 'A' Libraries
shall be entitled to appoint one Senior
Librarian, one Junior Librarian and one
Library Attendant subject to maximum of
Rs. 4,92,000/- (Rupees Four lakhs ninety for Junior Librarian and Rs. 11,000/- per
month for Library Attendant.
6. Class 'B' Libraries.— (i) Class 'B'
Libraries shall be entitled to appoint one
Junior Librarian and one Library Attendant
subject to maximum of Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees
Three lakhs only) viz. Rs. 14,000/- per month
for Junior Librarian and Rs. 11,000/- per
month for Library Attendant.
7. Class 'C' Libraries.— (i) Class 'C'
Libraries shall be entitled to appoint
one Junior Librarian and one Library
Attendant subject to maximum of
Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three lakhs only) viz.
Rs. 14,000/- per month for Junior Librarian
and Rs. 11,000/- per month for Library
Attendant.
8. Class 'D' Libraries.— (i) Class 'D'
Libraries shall be entitled to appoint one
Junior Librarian and one Library Attendant
subject to maximum of Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees
Three lakhs only) viz. Rs. 14,000/- per month
for Junior Librarian and Rs. 11,000/- per
month for Library Attendant.
(ii) Assistance at the rate of 100% OFFICIAL GAZETTE — GOVT. OF GOA SERIES I No. 11 (SUPPLEMENT) 13TH JUNE, 2024 maximum of Rs. 80,000/- (Rupees Eighty thousand only).
The other content of the notification will
remain the same.
The amendment of the scheme shall come
into force from 01-04-2024.
This issues with the approval of the Government and the concurrence of the Finance (Exp.) Department vide their U. O.
No. 1400090922 dated 15-03-2024.
