In exercise of the powers vested in me vide Rule 2(e) of the Goa Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat (Election Procedure) Rules, 1996, I, Daulat Hawaldar, IAS (Retd.), Commissioner of Goa State Election Commission, Altinho, Panaji-Goa hereby appoint the following Officers as Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers within their concerned jurisdiction for the ensuing bye-elections to the vacant seats of Panchayat members in the wards mentioned against their names below:

OFFICIAL GAZETTE — GOVT. OF GOA SERIES II No. 22 (EXTRAORDINARY No. 2) 2ND SEPTEMBER, 2024 the Goa Legislative Assembly prepared under the provisions of Representation of People Act, 1950 (Central Act 43 of 1951) for the time being in forceNow therefore, the State Election Commission in exercise of the powers conferred upon it under Article 243K of the Constitution of India and Section 237(1) and (3) of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act, 1994, do hereby notify as follows:-
"that the Collector and District Magistrate, South Goa shall function as the overall District Election Officer (DEO) for Ward No. VII of Village Panchayat Orlim, Taluka Salcete, South Goa District in the State of Goa and Ward No. VI of Village Panchayat Morpirla, Taluka Quepem, South Goa District in the State of Goa.
This comes into force with immediate effect.

In exercise of the powers conferred on me vide Rule 5 of the Goa Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat (Election Procedure) Rules, 1996, I, Daulat Hawaldar, IAS (Retd.), Commissioner of Goa State Election Commission, hereby notify that the Electoral Roll of as on 1st January, 2024 (as the qualifying date) and
published on 5th January, 2024 integrated with
additions, deletions and corrections carried out
during continuous updation 2024 upto 01-07-2024
for such Constituencies of the Assembly or any part thereof as is included in the area within the jurisdiction Village Panchayats shall be adopted for the purpose of preparation of Electoral Roll for ensuing Bye-Elections to Ward No. VII of Village Panchayat Orlim, Taluka Salcete, South Goa District in the State of Goa and Ward No. VI of Village Panchayat Morpirla, Taluka Quepem, South Goa District in the State of Goa. The Constitution of Village Panchayat ward is as per following Notifications.
