In the Notifications read above dry days were
declared in the areas under jurisdiction of Village
Panchayat Harvalem, Taluka Bicholim, North Goa
District, Ward No. VII of Village Panchayat Orlim,
Taluka Salcete and Ward No. VI of Village
Panchayat Morpirla, Taluka Quepem, South Goa
District in the State of Goa.
In view of the communication by the Secretary,
Goa State Election Commission vide letter No.
3/46/BYE-ELN/2024-25/SEC/686 dated 14-10-2024
that no election will be held in Ward No. VII of
Village Panchayat Orlim, Taluka Salcete, South Goa
District, the restrictions on sale and movement of
liquor laid vide above notifications shall now not be applicable to the Ward No. VII of Village
Panchayat Orlim, Taluka Salcete, South Goa District.

Pursuant to the declaration of no Bye-Election in the Ward No. VII of Village Panchayat Orlim, Taluka Salcete, South Goa District by the State Election Commission on account of candidate being elected unopposed, the "paid holiday " declared vide Notification dated 08-10-2024 read above, on Sunday, the 20th October, 2024 (Asvina 28, Saka 1946) being the "polling day" for the Bye-Election to Ward No. VII of Village Panchayat Orlim, Taluka Salcete, South Goa District in the State of Goa, to the voter of the said Bye-Election, stands cancelled.
