Sub.: Amendment to the notification of State Sector Scheme "Assistance for purchase of Agriculture Inputs".

Ref.: Notification No. 3/Crops & PP/27 & 31/ /SCP-TSP scheme file/2019-20/D. Agri/ /302 and published in Official Gazette, Series I No. 38 dated 20th December, 2019.

AMENDMENT

Government is please to amend the above read notification of State sector scheme "Assistance for purchase of Agriculture Inputs" as below:—

2) The expression at C.— "(1) Latest copy of the Form I and XIV of the land index, (2) Bill/Original cash receipts towards purchase of inputs, (3) Copy of the caste cer tificate issued by the competent authority, (4) Mandate form duly filled in for ECS transfer, (5) Form GAR 32 duly signed by the farmer" shall be replaced with "(1) Krishi Card, (2) Bill/ /original cash receipts towards purchase of inputs".

3) The expression at D.1.— "The scheme shall be implemented & monitored by Plant Protection Section under control of Dy. Director of Agriculture (PP)" shall be replaced with "1. The scheme shall be implemented & monitored by Crops and Plant Protection Section under control of Dy. Director of Agriculture (Crops & PP)".

1) The expression at 1.— (i) "This scheme shall be called as "Assistance for purchase of Agriculture Inputs" shall be replaced with (i) This scheme shall be called as "Assistance for purchase of Agriculture Inputs for Scheduled Tribe Farmers". 4) The expression at D.4.— "The Zonal Agriculture Officer shall verify the case and recommend the subsidy as per the pattern of assistance to the Directorate" shall be replaced with 4. "Claims will be verified by the concerned Zonal Agriculture Officer and submitted to the concerned District Agriculture Officer for further verification and sanctioning within the powers delegated to them". 311 Suggestions are welcomed on e-mail: dir–[email protected] OFFICIAL GAZETTE — GOVT. 5) The expression at D.5.— "The cases shall be scrutinized by Plant Protection Section at Directorate of Agriculture, and eligible cases shall be sanctioned for subsidy" shall be replaced with 5. "Claims will be further verified and sanctioned at District Agriculture Offices and sanction order is drawn by concern District Agriculture Officer and further forwarded to Zonal Agriculture Offices for online disbursement".

6) The expression at D.6.— "The subsidy shall be drawn and disbursed by Zonal Agriculture Officer, and paid by ECS" shall be replaced with 6. "On receipt of the sanction order from District Agriculture Officer the Zonal Agriculture Officer, will disburse the eligible assistance to the beneficiaries/farmers directly to their bank account through "Agri. Application" (agri.goa.gov.in) using disbursement module from the bank account of the scheme."

This amendment shall come into force with

immediate effect.

This issue with the concurrence of the Finance Depar tment under their U. O. No. 1123/F dated 01-03-2024.
