And whereas, the Goa Town and Country Planning Board in it's 219th Meeting held on 30-09-2025, 215th Meeting held on 04-06-2025, 209th meeting held on 12-12-2024, 214th Meeting held on 24-04-2025 has approved the said proposals as specified in above table;
Now, therefore, as required by sub-rule (2) of rule 4 of the said Rules, a notice is hereby given to the public that the Goa Town and Country Planning Board in it's 219th Meeting held on 30-09-2025, 215th Meeting held on 04-06-2025, 209th meeting held on 12-12-2024, 214th Meeting held on 24-04-2025 has approved the said proposals for change of zones, in respect of the plots of land as specified in above table, which were placed before it under sub-rule (1) of rule 4 of the said Rules and suggestions are hereby invited from the public within a period of thirty days from the date of publication to this Notification in the Official Gazette.
All the proposals as specified in the above table are available for the purpose of inspection in the Regional Plan Cell, Office of Tiswadi Taluka, Town and Country Planning Department, Kamat Tower, 5th Floor, Patto, Panaji-Goa.
Suggestions, if any, to the said proposals as approved by the Goa Town and Country Planning Board may be forwarded to the Chief Town Planner (Planning), 2nd Floor, Dempo Tower, Patto Plaza, Panaji-Goa, before the expiry of the said period of thirty days, so that the said proposals alongwith suggestions, if any received, can be placed before the Goa Town and Country Planning Board for its recommendation/approval/ /decision in terms of sub-rule (3) of rule 4 of the said Rules.

Whereas, the Deputy Collector & SDM-I, Margao, Salcete-Goa and the Deputy Superintendent of Police (Traffic), South Goa, Margao, have submitted a list of abandoned/unclaimed vehicles lying for a long period in the jurisdiction of the Traffic Cell, Fatorda area, Salcete-Goa;
And whereas, the said vehicles are breeding grounds for mosquitoes which causes rise in the vector borne diseases and thereby poses to health hazard to the general public;
And whereas, the aforementioned abandoned vehicles within the jurisdiction of Margao are causing obstruction, inconvenience and potential hazards to the public;
And whereas, such abandoned vehicles are likely to cause a nuisance, pose a risk to public safety and may lead to criminal activities or be used for unlawful purposes;
Now, therefore, I, Egna Cleetus, IAS, District Magistrate, South Goa District, in exercise of the powers vested in me under Section 26 of the Indian Police Act, 1861, hereby call upon all the persons claiming interest in the said vehicles to submit their claims (if any), alongwith the documentary evidence, to the Office of the Deputy Collector & Sub Divisional Magistrate-I, Margao-Goa, within a period of 06 (six) months from the date of publication of this proclamation.
If no objections/claims are received within the stipulated period, the vehicles shall be forfeited in favour of the State Government and shall be disposed of through public auction as provided under law or through such mode as approved by this office and no further claims will be entertained from any one thereafter and the proceeds shall be forfeited to the Government.

It is hereby made known to all concerned that by virtue of Judgment and Decree passed by the Hon'ble Court of the District Judge - 1, South Goa at Margao in Regular Civil Appeal No. 43/2024 on 16th day of the month of April, 2025, in the above mentioned Marriage Petition No. 49/2017/A, the regular civil appeal is allowed with no costs.
The impugned Judgment, Order and Decree dated 23-08-2023 is quashed and set aside.
The marriage petition filed by the appellant is allowed in terms of prayer (a) and (b).
