DPSE/IV/Population Census-2027/1/2025-26/2245 Date : 24-Oct-2025

Pursuant to the Government of India Notification for conducting Pretest for the 1st Phase of Census 2027, under Section 17-A of the Census Act, republished in the Official Gazette, Government of Goa (Extraordinary No. 2) dated 22nd October, 2025, the Government of Goa is pleased to appoint the District Collectors North Goa and South Goa respectively as Principal Census Officers for the Pretest of Census 2027 being conducted in their respective districts from 10th November, 2025 to 30th November, 2025 with an option for self-enumeration from 1st November, 2025 to 7th November, 2025 as under:
