In exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Goa Land Revenue Code, 1968 (Act No. 9 of 1969) and in supersession of the Government Notification No. 16/15/87-RD dated 14/12/1987 published in the Official Gazette, Series II No. 42, dated 14-01-1988, and all other notification issued in this regard, the Government of Goa hereby appoints the Officers specified in column (2) of the Schedule hereto to exercise the powers and discharge the duties and functions of the Revenue and Survey Officers under the said Code as specified in the corresponding entries in column (3) of the said schedule within their respective jurisdiction as specified in the corresponding entries in column (4) of the said Schedule.
