The Goa State Research Foundation (Amendment) Act, 2025

ACT

to amend the Goa State Research Foundation Act, 2022 (Goa Act 8 of 2022).

BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Goa in the Seventy-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) This Act may be called the Goa State Research Foundation (Amendment) Act, 2025. OF GOA SERIES I No. 6 (EXTRAORDINARY) 12TH MAY, 2025 (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.

2. Amendment of Section 10.— In Section 10 of the Goa State Research Foundation Act, 2022 (Goa Act 8 of 2022), in sub-section (3), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely:-

"Provided that in the absence of required quorum, the meeting may be adjourned by thirty minutes.

After adjournment, the meeting may be conducted if atleast one-third of the total numbers of members are present."
