Order

1/13/CEO/GSCB/WING-I/HQ/2024/RCS/429 Date: 07-May-2025

Order under Section 67a (1) (E) of The Goa Co-operative Societies Act, 2001

And whereas, the term of the existing Board of Directors of the said Bank elected under the provisions of the said Act was due in the month of August 2024

And whereas, as per the provision of sub-section 1 of Section 66 of the said Act, the election of the board shall be conducted before the expiry of the term of the board so as to ensure that the newly elected members of the board assume office immediately on the expiry of the office of members of the outgoing board.

However, the election process could not be completed due to litigations filed by aggrieved parties challenging the orders passed by the Chief Election Officers.
